What to have ready
You do not need much, but the listing is more useful when it is complete:
- Club name and the city or suburb you play in.
- Venue (the courts or centre). We use this to place your pin on the map, so the more specific the better.
- Type: men's, mixed, women's, or any combination you run.
- Training and match days, and your standard (social, competitive or elite).
- A link (website, Facebook group or sign-up page) and a contact (email or phone) so players can reach you.
- Whether you are taking new players right now, and any leagues you play in.
How to add it
- Open the map and tap "Add your club".
- Fill in the form. As you enter your venue, we turn it into a map pin so you can check it looks right.
- Submit for review. That is it. There is no account to create.
What happens next
Every submission is checked by a person before it goes public, so spam and mistakes never reach the map. Once your club is approved it appears within a few minutes. If something does not look right after that, just let us know.
Keeping it up to date
Moved venues, changed days, or no longer taking new players? Open Manage your club, find your listing, and submit an update. No account or password, just the page. You can also tap "Suggest a correction" on your club's panel on the map. Either way the change is reviewed before it goes live.
Prefer email? Write to michael@michaeljosem.com with your club name and what has changed, and we will update the listing. The same goes if you ever want it removed.
A few tips
- Use the venue players actually turn up to, not a postal address.
- If you run more than one program (say men's and mixed), list every type that applies so you show up in more searches.
- A working link and contact make all the difference. A pin with no way to get in touch is a dead end.
