N Netball Clubs Back to map

FAQ

Your questions, answered

Everything you need to find a club and get playing, with a few notes on adding your own.

What can this site do for me?

It helps you find a netball club near you, fast, on one free map. When you are ready, you can add your own club so other players can find it too. There is more on the About page.

Is it really free?

Yes. Finding a club is free, and listing one is free. There is no account to create and nothing to pay.

How do I find a club near me?

Open the map and either search your city or use the "Near me" button to centre on your location. Filter by type, standard and the day you want to play, then open any club to see its venue, playing days and how to get in touch.

I am new to netball. Can I still join?

Absolutely. Plenty of clubs run social and beginner-friendly sessions. Look for clubs marked as taking new players, and check the "Social" standard. When in doubt, message the club. They are usually glad to hear from newcomers.

How do I add my club?

Tap "Add your club" on the map and fill in the short form. Your venue becomes a map pin automatically. There is a step-by-step guide on the List your club page.

Why has my club not appeared yet?

Michael Josem checks every submission by hand before it goes live, so there is a short delay. Once approved it can take a few more minutes to show on the map. If it has been a while and still is not there, email him at michael@michaeljosem.com.

Something is wrong with a listing. How do I fix it?

Email Michael Josem at michael@michaeljosem.com with the club name and what needs changing, and he will update or remove it.

The map looks empty where I live.

The list is still growing, with the biggest scenes seeded first. If your area is sparse, the most useful thing you can do is add the clubs you know about. Every listing you add saves the next player the search.

Can I put the map on my own website?

Yes. You can embed the map in an iframe and pre-filter it by type, country, standard or day. The Embed the map page has copy-paste code and a full list of parameters.

I have an idea to make the site better. Who do I tell?

Michael Josem runs the site and welcomes feature requests and suggestions. Email him at michael@michaeljosem.com. Your ideas help shape what gets built next.
